About Dr. Energy Saver® Charlotte

Dr. Energy Saver Charlotte is the local Dr. Energy Saver serving parts of North and South Carolina.

We are a third generation business that originally started out as a small sheet metal shop and metal roofing company. W. Fred Long opened the business in 1927 and later passed it to his son Ronald J. Long, Sr. in 1971, who passed it to his sons Steven and Joel in 2005.

We Begin to Expand

As the company expanded over the years, we took to duct fabrication, commercial roofing, and commercial and residential HVAC. Because HVAC is the largest percentage of energy used in homes, we thought it was a natural progression to add an energy related division to the business.

We are very excited to have the opportunity to expand and are even in the process of opening a customer care center where all of our sales, marketing, accounting, and training operations will be located.
